BMW Classified
Welcome to the BMW Classifieds website where we will be reviewing cars from the BMW range and the related used cars from rival companies in the same sectors. So, if you find a review of the bmw x5 then cars in the rival sector would be Audi Q7, Volvo XC90 and other similar vehicles.
We will try to cover cars right across the range and bring as much useful information to these pages as we can gather from our varied resources.
Please take the time to look through the table below of the bmw range and related manufacturer vehicles.
The Used Bmw 1 Series
The BMW 1-series includes the company’s smallest and least expensive car models while retaining all of the superior attributes BMW vehicles are known for. Sporty yet sophisticated, this series offers a variety of trims in 3-door and 5-door models (on both coupes and hatches) as well as a 2-door convertible with a soft retractable top.
Models in the BMW 1-series operate on a 4- or 6-cylinder engine and 6-speed manual transmission with the option of a 6-speed automatic. All vehicles in this series are rear-wheel drive, a first for cars in this class. BMW lists acceleration times as low as 5.3 seconds 0-62 in the turbocharged 135i Sport to an impressive 9.5 seconds 0-62 in the heavier convertible. Even the tiny 116i with its 122 hp engine races 0-62 in under 10 seconds. Try used cars ipswich for the best deals.
The Lexus GS and BMW 5
Both the Lexus GS and BMW 5 series are mid-size luxury executive cars, with the Lexus GS also holding the title of luxury sports sedan as well. Our lexus test car from used cars wakefield was a brilliant vehicle. The Lexus GS has come in several different series, including the GS 300 and GS 350. Throughout its three generations the Lexus GS has changed in different ways, borrowing design plans and features of other used cars like the Toyota Mark X and the Toyota Crown.
The BMW 5 series such as the F10 boasts a V8 and several different diesel engines, depending on where they’re sold. Other performance features for the BMW 5 series includes rear-wheel drive or four-wheel drive and 8 speed automatic or 6 speed manual transmission. The Lexus GS also comes with several different features for performance purposes, including rear-wheel drive and all-wheel drive, and 6 or 8 speed automatic transmission. The Lexus GS also offers a hybrid model transmission called the CVT. All of these features are mainstays in the Lexus and BMW way of life, making it a tough choice to buy one or the other based on performance capacity alone. |
